The world’s best-selling CD compilation series, NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL MUSIC!, celebrates 10 chart topping years with a special anniversary CD THE BEST OF NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL MUSIC! 10TH ANNIVERSARY containing hit songs from the past decade. The album will be released on CD and digitally on November 11th.

Since its debut in 1998, the series has sold over 70 million CDs in the USA and has become one of the best known music brands of all time. The CD tracks on the special anniversary album include smash hits by artists including: U2, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, P!nk and Kanye West and has classic #1 songs including U2’s “Beautiful Day,” Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy Back,” Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl” and Rihanna’s “Umbrella.”

The NOW series has been called the “most successful brand in music” and has sold millions of copies all over the world. Every recent NOW release has debuted in one of the top slots on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. In addition, NOW’s collective releases sell more than any other music property each year.

Says Bob Mercer, Chief Executive of NOW, “We’re enormously proud of the sustained success of this brand and equally ambitious for its future.”

The NOW series was originally launched 25 years ago in the UK and has topped their charts for a quarter of a century. A worldwide phenomenon, NOW has succeeded in territories as diverse as South Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

The 10th anniversary collection is released the same day as the latest in the NOW series, NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL MUSIC! VOLUME 29. This must-have CD is packed with current chart topping hits, including songs by Leona Lewis, Katy Perry, P!nk, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, T.I., Pussycat Dolls and Rihanna.

The NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL MUSIC! series is a compilation joint venture from EMI Music, Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group and the Zomba Label Group. The series debuted in the United States in 1998 after the NOW brand had been an enormous, multi-platinum international success for nearly 20 years. To date, the NOW series has generated sales of over 200 million albums worldwide, and has sold over 70 million copies in the United States since its debut, remaining the only non-soundtrack, multi-artist series to reach #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
