The Boxing Lesson have made a killer animation video for their song Dark Side of the Moog that was directed by Eric Power (Waking Life).

Band Info: Most recently the band has played with (or are about to play with): Autolux, Interpol, Secret Machines, A Place to Bury Strangers, 65daysofstatic, Calla, BRMC, Gliss, Monsters are Waiting, Har Mar Superstar, Soundpool, The Whigs, Thee More Shallows, {{{Sunset}}}, The Warlocks and Tokyo Police Club. TBL have recently been compared to Pink Floyd, The Cure, Catherine Wheel, Hum, The Verve and David Bowie to name a few. . . . The Boxing Lesson also was adopted by Dennys All Nighter Promotion with Filter Magazine after receiving over 420,000 votes from their fans, which is pretty crazy. They recently played for 15,000 people in Austin for the Nike 10K Human Race on Labor Day weekend. Multiple tours to around the USA has come to fruition and the band will be making a run out West in Early November.

Video info: Directed by Eric Power, an animator on “Waking Life” and has produced music videos for The Lovely Sparrows, AM Syndicate and more. Always on the cutting edge, using a wide variety of styles (stop motion, claymation, digital, mixed media, animation, more) and his projects are always full of creativity with intense characters designed by Eric himself. Eric Power has certainly out done himself on this visually stunning animated video for The Boxing Lesson’s Dark Side of the Moog.
