The HOMETOWN THROWDOWN–Boston’s biggest party of the holiday season will be kicking off on Wednesday December 26 – December 29 at The Middle East in Boston, MA (already sold-out) and December 31 at Lupo’s in Providence, RI (tickets on sale now), featuring plastic Santas, dancing Menorahs and a holiday themed backdrop adorning the stage with hard-hitting, horn-driven, action- packed ska-punk delivered with care and conviction by the one and only MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES.

This year Bosstone Joe Gittleman devised a unique paperless ticketing system with a 2 ticket limit to ensure that all tickets went to fans at face value and stayed out of the hands of scalpers and ticket services.

In other BossToneS News—The band is currently working on an album of all new material to be released 2009. They will also be releasing a limited edition 7″ single on colored vinyl through the bands own Big Rig Records in late December 2008 to celebrate the outcome of the presidential election and pledge support to the new President of the United States of America, and as a Christmas gift to their loyal fans and supporters.

“I feel like the world is now a better place, and a large chunk of my faith in my country has been restored. I don’t think we made a good choice, I think we made a great choice. I’m looking forward to living in a country where the guy who runs it is smarter then I am. You can from here on out refer to the BossToneS drummer Joe Sirois as “Joe The Drummer” –MMB Frontman Dicky Barrett
