Several of Atlanta’s most skilled underground emcees have teamed up with DJ Dainja of Psyche Origami to develop a mix-tape like no other. It combines the old definition (live to tape DJ mixing) with the new idea (rappers spitting over various beats). On “16 Bars of Gold”, DJ Dainja dropped the instrumental tracks in one take with scratch transitions and a flawless mix using nothing but vinyl, giving the cd a live feel that flows from start to finish. Over the few months following that initial session, the various emcees recorded their fine verses, one by one, until the entire set was covered. Beats and Rhymes, simple and plain. It is now available for listening in its completed state.

Featured artists include Liuns Den, Binkis Recs, Senor Kaos, Rubix, Chief Justice, and SIMP. It can be downloaded by clicking the link below.
