After a long writing process, New York’s As Tall As Lions are ready to enter the studio to begin work on “You Can’t Take It With You,” their third full length album. With producer Adam Lasus (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Yo La Tengo) on board, vocalist Dan Nigro says, “we’ve finally found a producer who matches our ambition for making this record.” “You Can’t Take It With You” is due out early summer 2009.

“You Can’t Take It With You” is the follow up to 2006’s breakthrough self-titled record. As Tall As Lions also released the “Into The Flood” EP last November.

“Catchy tracks like ‘Love, Love, Love (Love Love)’ and ‘Milk & Honey’ show off vocalist Daniel Nigro’s unbridled Jeff Buckley-esque range while ‘Ghosts Of York’ and ‘Be Here Now’ hit a more mainstream mark with conviction and clarity of an act twice their senior.” – Alternative Press, 5 out of 5

“{On As Tall As Lions} the band sounds huge – loads of minute sonic detail and layers of overdubs creates a rich tapestry of sounds…” Pitchfork
