The Brighton Port Authority chairman Norman Cook is getting ready to release the long-lost, star-studded BPA session tapes in the United States in the form of a self-titled debut album. The lead single, Toe Jam, featuring David Byrne and Dizzee Rascal, is sure to be the gem of many a mix-tape in the coming months. The accompanying video is as playful as the track, and has already been featured in Rolling Stone. It is Best-of list material for sure.

The album drops February 3rd courtesy of Southern Fried Records, and features a veritable who’s who of the indie music scene. The session tapes were the result of the now legendary multi-day warehouse parties masterminded by Cook and studio partner Simon Thornton.
