2009’s most talked about British singer-songwriter Frank Turner will return to North America in the New Year with small intimate performances in Toronto, Los Angeles, and Austin in January/February before embarking on a month long tour with Flogging Molly where he’ll be accompanied by a full band for the first time in the US. 2009 found the celebrated folk-punk singer in non-stop touring of the US with everyone from The Offspring, The Gaslight Anthem to The Revival Tour in support of his critically heralded album, Poetry of the Deed. Called “his finest work” (Portland Mercury) and one of the “Best Albums of 2009” (Paste Magazine), Poetry of the Deed continues to resonate with listeners as grassroots awareness of his passionate and energetic performances spread across the country.
