Currently Ronny Lee is focusing on an acoustic / classical baroque era release which features 14th and 15th century music performed on a classical guitar with a Guitar Synthesizer. This is a marriage between the old style and new guitar synth technology. Ronny Lee is a versatile blues artist who has been performing all over the west coast for many years.

Raised in Texas on a gumbo of Blues, Country, Southern Rock, Cajun and Gospel, he developed a unique style of guitar playing that has kept him working steadily in Honky Tonks, Blues Venues and Juke Joints since the age of 16. His first record release was in the seventies and over the years his bluesy style has landed him in several recording and performing projects with artists as diverse as Duff McKagen (Guns and Roses), Ivan De Prume (White Zombie) Roy Buchanon, The Busboys, Bob Margoleouff producer, (Stevie Wonder, The Doors, Doobie Bros.) and Steve Riley (L.A. Guns) to name a few.

His songwriting is influenced by several blues greats including Elmore James, Freddie King and Stevie Ray Vaughan, and range in topics from fast cars and fast women to lost love. The feature cut on one of his latest recordings “Tropical Depression” is about weathering the storms and hurricanes that ravaged the Texas coastline where he grew up.
