Mauro Bertoli, winner of many National and International competitions, gained recognition with audience and music critics playing as a solist and in different chamber groups in Italy (“La Fenice” in Venice, “Verdi Hall” in Milan, Auditorium Parco della Musica – “S. Cecilia Hall”, in Rome, New Comunal Theatre in Vicenza, “Teatro Coccia” in Novara), Usa, Canada, Israel, Germany, France, Belgium, Albania and Sweden.

He performed also with orchestras: University of Ottawa Orchestra, Texas Festival Orchestra, Palm Beach Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra da camera of Brescia, Orchestra of Teatro Olimpico of Vicenza, Orchestra “Coccia” of Novara, “I pomeriggi musicali” of Milano, “Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana”.

Recently he played the Concert op.15 n.1 by Beethoven under the famous pianist and conductor Philippe Entremont in Ottawa, Canada.

Graduated at the Academy of Music “G.Verdi” in Milan (Italy) under the tutelage of Sergio Marengoni, actually his teacher at the Fondation “Romano Romanini” in Brescia, achieving the highest mark, distinction and a special mention, he received a prestigious national award, the “Giuseppe Sinopoli Award 2006” assigned by the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, for the best laureate at the Accademia S. Cecilia in Roma, where he studied with Sergio Perticaroli.

After his studies with Mats Widlund at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, he obtained the “Diploma Superior d’ Enseignement, a l’unanimité avec felicitation” at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, under the tutelage of Nelson Delle Vigne. Now he is also a student of “The International Certificate for Piano Artists – ICPA” under the chairmanship of Philippe Entremont and the artistic direction of Nelson Delle Vigne.

He receive also important advices from the famous pianist Louis Lortie. He recorded CDs for Sarx Records, Stradivarius, Son Art Studios….his last CD with music by Beethoven and Schumann was sponsorised by Casa Bugatti Italy. He played also for Radio Classica Milano.
