The Josh Weathers Band is scheduled to release their second album “The New Serenade” Febuary 15, 2008. Following 2005’s self-titled debut album, “The New Serenade” is 9 tracks of soul inspired roots rock bliss with hints of The Band, Elton John, Stax and Motown. The CD Release Party will be held at Lola’s Saloon in Ft. Worth, TX with opening acts Hurt Street and The Campaign as support. The JWB has decided to donate $1 to The Carter Albrecht Music Foundation for every CD sold in 2008 starting Febuary 15, 2008. The band is a very big supporter of local music and their donations to the foundation will help support DFW musicians.
