Compared to the likes of such artist as Cee-Lo, Dave Hollister & Jazze Pha The name Cedric L. Wright (Tigga Bounce) isn’t a household name yet, but his production skills should change that in the near future. It’s his productions that have caught the attention of Paul Wall,Charlie Wilson of The Gap Band and world renowned mix-engineer/producer Dale ‘Rambro’ Ramsey, who both co-sign him as a producer on the rise.

Not bad for a country boy raised on the same streets in Montgomery, Alabama that inspired the Civil Rights Era. In an effort to excel in the entertainment industry and fulfill his dream of making it in the music business, Cedric moved to Atlanta. The relocation paid off quickly. He’s worked with many established artists such as Khudjoe Goodie (Goodie Mob), Trick Daddy and Bonecrusher on yet-to-be-released tracks. At an early age Cedric discovered that music was his first love. He began his vocal training at the age of 9 in the back room of his grandmother’s house. Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind and Fire and The Isley Brother’s provided the soundtrack to his youth. He began playing Trombone while in Jr. High School, which gave him an overall theory of music and instrumentation placement. Throughout High School and college he was in the marching band.

It was in college that he and 3 other students formed a group called The Truth. They sang backup for several concert tours including the legendary Patti Labelle. After two years, the group later broke up in pursuit of solo deals. Armed with his vocal ability and his knowledge of music composition, he was ready to make his mark on the industry. Since then he’s been in grind mode just recently producing tracks for Paul Wall (SwishaHouse/ Atlantic Records) Cedric’s tracks come from deep inside his soul.

Though his early life experiences led him to pursue a career as a singer and songwriter, it was the bounce in his tracks, and his production that garnered him the most attention. It was that bounce and his work with local artist in the ATL area that earned him the name Tigga Bounce. Cedric is currently servicing his hit single “Quad Drop Low” to radio and DJ’s. A compilation album titled “Welcome To Bounceville” is also in the works.
