As its May 5th release date looms, the members of Psychostick have started to pound the digital pavement in search of pre-orders for “Sandwich,” which they plan to ship themselves.

“Getting pre-orders is important for several reasons,” says vocalist Rob “Rawrb” Kersey. “As an independent band, we benefit more. This will help us in April when we start rehearsing for the tour, and then in May when the tour actually starts. It also helps us connect with the fans because the CD they receive in the mail will come directly from us.”

A challenge for any band, Psychostick will personally package and ship every pre-order. To sweeten the deal even further, the band is offering the album for only $10 – and that includes the shipping. Orders outside of the US are going for $18, postage included. Fans are being encouraged to visit www.psychostick.com for ordering details.

Psychostick has posted three new tracks from “Sandwich” on their MySpace page – “This Is Not a Song, It’s a Sandwich,” “Girl Directions,” and “You’ve Got Mail Enhancement.” Fan response has been overwhelmingly favorable. In addition to this all-important opinion, radio testing in select markets have put “Do You Want a Taco” and “#1 Radio $ingle” as listener favorites.

“Sandwich” is the full-length follow-up to 2006’s “We Couldn’t Think Of A Title,” which yielded such hits as “Beer Is Good…. And Stuff” and “ABCDeath.”
