Mindi Brizendine Bio: This dynamic vocalist from Portland, Oregon is entertaining audiences across the NW with great jazz & swing standards, blues, and Broadway favorites, jazz, swing and blues originals, and popular/folk hits from the 60â€˜s to today. Her artistic vocal style has been described by her fans as “reminiscent of great artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Barbra Streisand, Etta James, Karen Carpenter, Maureen McGovern, and Rosemary Clooney.”
Mindi has performed in jazz lounges, on stage in musical theatre productions, wine-tasting events, at corporate parties, private homes, weddings, fairs and festivals, concerts, fine restaurants, show openings, competitions,and recordings. Mindi has entertained at events in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Indiana, Tennessee, Arizona, Alaska, Texas, Hawaii, and Canada. In May 2007 ,Mindi Brizendine independently produced and released her first CD, â€œAT LASTâ€, followed closely by her second album, â€œForever Yoursâ€ in March 2008.

In 2007, Mindi combined forces with Washington keyboardist, Richard Kutch, forming the Mindi Brizendine Duo. Band Members: Richard Kutch began his professional career in the 1950’s at the age of 17. He has worked as a solo entertainer, and has performed across the United States and in Europe for over 30 years. He studied piano and music theory at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, Illinois, and has a music education degree from Indiana University. He specializes in jazz standards, ragtime, rhythm and blues, as well as Broadway and Gershwin favorites.
