Pearl Jam announced today two, summer, North American performances. Concerts are scheduled to take place August 21st in Toronto, Canada and August 23rd in Chicago, Illinois.
Public tickets for the Toronto, Canada show goes on-sale Friday, May 8th at 2:00 pm (local time) at all Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.ca. Chicago, Illinois public ticket go on-sale Saturday, May 9th at 11:00 am (local time) and are also available at all Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Pearl Jam’s Summer 2009 North American dates mark the band’s first return to Toronto since the summer of 2006. Their Chicago return comes on the heels of their successful headlining Lollapalooza engagement in 2007. These dates are in addition to Pearl Jam’s previously announced headlining performances at both San Francisco’s Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival August 28 – 30, 2009 (http://www.sfoutsidelands.com/) and Austin City Limits on October 4, 2009 (http://www.aclfestival.com).
