“No Deliverance, the Texas based alterna-rockers’ first studio effort in seven years, is an absolute barn burner completely justifying the hype built up around a reunion tour that sizzled its way across the country this summer.” – Billboard

“The fact that these guys can reunite and crank out material that’s just as relevant now as it was then is a solid testament to their craft.” – Spin

“Toadies reclaim their “kingdom” with No Deliverance, a bold mix of post-grunge aggression and spicy Texas roadhouse flair.” – Rolling Stone

“The Toadies are back, and they’ve made their best record yet. No Deliverance is their classic sound with a wiser perspective, but more importantly, it’s a batch of kickass rock n’ roll tunes.” – Artist Direct

New York, NY – THE TOADIES have announced plans for a two month tour that will take them coast to coast April – June in support of their latest release, No Deliverance. Last year, The Toadies reunited after a seven year absence, released No Deliverance and played a US Tour that sold out in many major markets including New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Atlanta, Washington DC, Seattle, Minneapolis and of course all over Texas including Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. This time around, The Toadies have joined the Twitter nation (www.twitter.com/thetoadies) and give tickets away to every show to fans who are keeping up with their tweets. The band also have a new single available entitled ‘Song I Hate’ which can be downloaded here: kirtlandrecords.com/download/toadies/ToadiesNoDeliverance/SongIHate-Single.mp3.

“No Deliverance: its got riffs aplenty and surges with just as much energy, darkness and heaviness as their earlier stuff, and the title track is a monster.” –Goldmine

“Todd Lewis resurrects his Texas grindcore outfit to rock harder and spookier than ever. On No Deliverance, they deliver 10 sonic assaults on common decency and complacency, howling much like the fundamentalists hell hounds on their trail.” –Village Voice

“Who wants Toadies to change? Communists that’s who.” –Alternative Press

“Fourteen years have passed since Vaden Todd Lewis first haunted radio waves with his Do you wanna die? mantra. Despite band breakups, label woes and plastic guitars, the Toadies still sound as toady as ever on their new album, No Deliverance.” –Pitch Weekly

In celebration of Record Store Day (www.recordstoreday.com), The Toadies will play an in-store in Seattle at Silver Platters (time TBA). Toadies drummer Mark Reznicek says “As anybody who knows me can attest, I love record stores. I can spend hours browsing the racks, where one album will remind me of something else I want to look for, and so on and so on. I have fond memories as a teen of trips to Omaha and making my folks take me to the late, lamented Peaches record store there, and saving up my spare change to buy that new Talking Heads album, or the latest release by The Cars. I especially enjoyed hearing something new in the store while shopping, asking the guy behind the counter who it was, and going home with a new discovery, and a whole list of future purchases. Long live the record store!”

Toadies still get over 600 spins a week at alternative and active rock radio with combined plays from their current record as well as the Platinum-selling Rubberneck. No Deliverance has also scanned over 50k copies to date since its release in August ’08 and was the #4 selling indie record week of release. Toadies tirelessly trekked across the country for nearly five months that included a headlining stint at Lollapalooza on the MySpace stage. Toadies also headlined their own festival at Possum Kingdom Lake called Dia De Los Toadies in front of over 5,000 fans. They will have some rest after touring the U.S. coast-to-coast three times as well as the UK and prepare material for their next record.
