With a brand new album for Virgin Records on the way, Trouble Andrew will launch a blitz of tour dates this spring in support of his re-released, self-titled independent debut “Trouble Andrew” followed by a nationwide summer tour.

Trouble began his takeover at Irvine’s Bamboozle Left April 5—on a bill featuring headliners 50 Cent, Deftones and Taking Back Sunday. He immediately joins Santigold in San Francisco for a coast-to-coast romp.

Like most born rock stars, Trouble has always been a rebel. Embracing his passion, he dropped out of high school at 15 to live his dream of becoming a professional snowboarder—literally a (half) pipe dream for a kid coming from relatively flat Nova Scotia. He’s no stranger to the rock star life of winning contests, signing endorsement deals (Burton Snowboards and Oakley to name a few), and gaining rabid fans around the world.

Trouble has inspired a generation of snowboard kids with his original freestyle riding and unique, signature snowboards and outerwear that have always represented the skateboarding, punk rock, hip-hop, and pop influences of his youth. Trouble’s music paints a similar portrait with strokes of dark pummeling bass and synths, sk8rock guitar riffs and witty, sexually charged lyrics. It’s the musical equivalent of a dizzying McTwist, followed by a perfect landing. Pure ice cold rock n’ roll.

Recorded within shouting distance of British Columbia’s legendary Whistler, in a house with a skate ramp out back, Trouble Andrew’s independent debut (later released by Virgin Records) is an intriguing, unclassifiable blend of electro sounds, hip-hop beats and punk attitude. Trouble Andrew’s next outing, the first recorded specifically for Virgin Records, is promising, to say the least.
