The tour and movement targeted for tweens in the faith-based industry, iShine Live, is back for a 13 city run this spring bringing in more tween talent with support from American Heritage Girls and Trinity Broadcasting Network.

After a successful debut in the fall of 2008, iShine Live will bring well-known tween star Luke Benward, young artists Mission Six, The Rubyz, Jasmine, Jamie-Grace and Logan Charles on the road for thirteen spring dates. A complete list of tour dates are listed below as well as found on www.iShineLive.com.

The two-hour interactive show is geared for the 7-13 demographic. It is estimated that in the US alone there are 20 million tweens. iShine Live is the vision of faith-based music industry pioneer Robert Beeson (Essential Records, Third Day, Jars of Clay) who received the inspiration from his three-tween daughters.

“To see iShine Live come into its second season of touring is a testament to what God is doing to reach this tween market and we are honored to be a part of this movement,” explains founder Robert Beeson. “This younger market is hungry for music and they want something that applies to their lives, something that they can connect with and as far as the Christian community is concerned, there is a real lack of music being made for this age group.”

American Heritage Girls are also joining in on the action partnering with iShine Live to get their individual troops involved in the show. Each troop will be competing to have the most concertgoers for a pizza party reward in each tour market. The troops are also working to raise money for fundraising goals for their own organization. American Heritage Girls is a nonprofit, Christ-centered scouting organization for girls ages 5 to 18. AHG currently exists in 33 states with over 170 troops. “AHG is excited and honored to partner with iSHine to bring the vital message of identity in Christ to today’s tweens,” says AHG National Executive Director Patti Garibay. “God honoring entertainment can help deflect the arrows of today’s secular culture – iShine provides just that!”

TBN debuted “iShine KNECT” this month, an iCarly style show that features the iShine Live crew. The series features interview, fan questions and performances. “iShine KNECT” will air on TBN on Saturdays at 8:30am PST and on Smile of a Child TV on Saturdays at 3pm PST.

The network will also be airing a concert special with the entire cast slated for early May. TBN is the world’s largest religious network and America’s most watched faith channel. To find where TBN is airing in your market, go to www.tbn.org.

Star of “How to Eat Fried Worms” and Disney Channel’s “Minutemen,” 13 year-old Luke Benward is no stranger to the big stage. Luke has acted since the age of five, and now follows in the steps of his father and grandfather (Christian music duo Aaron and Jeoffrey) as he launches into the Christian music scene. In what will surely be the next great step of his already impressive career, Luke is recording his own national debut project which will release on April 21 while simultaneously hosting and performing on the youth focused iShine Live Tour across the US in 2009.

With an intense degree of contagious energy, MISSION SIX released their debut album Superhero on July 29, 2008. The album was produced by Kevan Cyka & Dan Needham, who
together have developed hit records for Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, JUMP5 and many more. Ranging from 13-15 years of age, the boys of MISSION SIX are bringing their youthful energy to the Christian youth pop/rock scene, where they appeal to fans of the Jonas Brothers, PureNRG, Family Force Five and others. There is little doubt that MISSION SIX is proving that they have what it takes to be one of 2009’s breakout bands! M6’s youthful energy and live talent quickly caught the attention of Radio Disney, where the band has been featured in recent months on the Radio Disney Incubator.

Cammie Hall, Alexis Slifer and Marissa Milele make up the hit pop trio The Rubyz. Their debut album has received airtime on Radio Disney as well as critical praise by everyone from Christianity Today to BRIO Magazine. Though their sound can be compared to the fresh chart-topping teen acts like Hannah Montana and High School Musical, their lyrics are sure to be grasped by tweens and parents alike. High energy with high impact, these girls put their faith out so all can see and hear the love of Jesus.

After being healed of bone cancer at the age of 11, Paige Armstrong has dedicated her life to reaching teens and young adults for Christ. She has appeared on national television programs such as “The Today Show” and “Extra,” encouraging young people to “use the life they have been given.” Now at 18, Paige continues to speak passionately to her generation about the purpose and value that everyone has as a child of God. With a new book in process, a debut national recording project due in 2009 and a full time focus on ministry with speaking engagements, Paige represents the very “best” of authentic faith and humility.

The multi-talented Jasmine Sagginario is a lock for instant popularity. Not to mention her rich, dynamic, soaring vocals, this 14-year-old is known for her work ethic, and more importantly, the heart of ministry to support her ambitious dreams. Hailing from Nashville, Jasmine has already been involved in the 2009 iShine LIVE! DVD filming and TBN’s “iShine KNECT.” Her self-titled debut release will hit stores on May 19, 2009.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Jamie-Grace is making waves as the host of the iShine Live tour on and off the stage. Suffering from tourette syndrome, the 17 year old founded an organization to help other teenagers like her suffering from the syndrome. The teenager has also started a monthly girl’s small group and production company. Amidst her hosting skills, Jamie-Grace also sings and acts as well as plays the guitar and drums.

Twelve year-old Logan Charles is in the process of releasing his first record and is already an internet sensation on the well-known Shoutlife.com. With around 30,000 views, it proves that Logan’s pop/rock sound is resonating with tween listeners. Also make sure to catch Logan on iShine KNECT and the live show on TBN.
