Whatcha Say,â€ the debut single from up-and-coming pop singer and songwriter Jason Derulo, has been added to playlists at 21 pop and rhythmic radio stations from coast to coast, including Los Angelesâ€™ influential KIIS FM, WKST in Pittsburgh, and WNKS in Charlotte, NC.
Derulo has set out on a nationwide radio promo tour during which he will visit on-air with various program hosts and perform at events throughout July and August, including appearances on July 18th at a KHTT event in Tulsa, OK, on July 25th at Club DV8 for KIIS FM in Los Angeles, on August 1st at a KRQQ event in Tucson, AZ, and on August 29th at an WFBC event in Greenville, SC.
The Miami-born Derulo is the first artist signed to Warner Bros. Recordsâ€™ new joint venture with multi-platinum songwriter and producer J.R. Rotemâ€™s record label Beluga Heights. Derulo has written songs for Lil Wayne, Sean Kingston, and Danity Kane and shared stages with T-Pain, Akon, and Mims. He is currently in the studio with Rotem (Sean Kingston, Rihanna, Rick Ross, Leona Lewis) putting finishing touches on his debut album, which will be released by Warner Bros./Beluga Heights this year.
