Kia Motors America today announced the lineup of bands set to perform in its 10-city nationwide program titled The Soul Collective (http://www.kiasoulcollective.com/). Geared toward creating awareness around the all-new 2010 Kia Soul, the program is being delivered directly to consumers through interactive events and test-drives. The tour made its first stop in Seattle with free performances from Santigold, No Age, Manchester Orchestra and Chairlift.

The rest of the 10-city tour will feature free shows with MGMT, Against Me!, Silversun Pickups, The Clipse, Dan Deacon, Major Lazer and more. Each stop will incorporate live music, art installations, video screenings, and Kia Soul test-drives.

-Atlanta: October 8-11

As a larger initiative, the Collective is comprised of some of today’s hottest artists, thought leaders and influencers, including designer Jeff Staple, musician Janelle Monae, filmmakers Jonas + Francois and more. For the program, the participating members will generate original free content demonstrating “how they roll,” including original films, games and music. The original content will begin this month and be released throughout the year.
