East arcadia play a style of fast, clean punk rock that manifests itself into a number of styles, of which a number can be found in arguably the best track on the disk, Preservation. Throwing in both a killer bass solo and a fast guitar solo, this track stands as a beacon to all potential listeners of this CD. All the Same has a heavily Epitaph feel to it, with Matt Freeman-style bass lines and a hurried delivery a la Pennywise, following in a guitar break-down/solo reminiscent of Bad Religion. With a very catchy opening, In The Meanwhile begins fairly standardly, even moving into tepidity. Fairly interesting guitar breakdowns with Matt Freeman style bass and a delivery on the verge of the masterful art of making a listener depressed at its delivery. Blindsided has more of the tinny guitar solos that just beg for people to cream over, the song even having a double vocal delivery and above-average guitars .With an opening reminiscent of 1980s metal, the final track, Dont Try ends a very stable, if not good album by these punks.
