Let’s go out in style! That is the attitude My My Misfire lives, breathes, and plays by. Hailing from the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, the band formed in early 2008 and fueled by two passions. “This Band was formed from our love to party and rock and roll. We want to make music the way its supposed to be made, but still have an appeal to today’s scene of kids along with ‘real music’ listeners,” states drummer Aaron Birdsall. My My Misfire’s ambitious attitude in promoting and booking shows themselves has resulted in playing regional and national shows across the country. Along the way the band has had the opportunity to share the stage with bands including Lacuna Coil, All That Remains, Drop Dead Gorgeous, He is Legend, Maylene & The Sons of Disaster, At All Cost, In Fear In Faith and many others. The band has recently finished an EP that was mixed by Beau Burchell of Saosin and continues to write and demo new songs to debut to the world soon. “My My Misfire’s song was a must have on this soundtrack. Their song is hard hitting, compelling and leaves the listener wanting more, which sums the background to this project. They are the only unsigned band on this soundtrack and are truly a band to watch for in the years to come” states Jonathan Platt of Artist Addiction Soundtracks.

“Newcomers My My Misfire knock it out of the park with their track “The Sinatra.” I’ve never heard My My Misfire before this, but I’ll tell you I can’t wait to get this band’s album. The breakdown is incredible, and the dueling vocals were something I found myself digging when normally I don’t. This song made me want to clear my office of all it’s furniture just so I didn’t break lamps while trying to dance”. Young, Poor & Angry Press

Back for the sixth installment of the Saw horror series this Halloween (in theaters now), moviegoers will once again cringe in their seats as blood, guts and body parts are up for grabs. What started out as a “little” indie horror movie back in 2004 has turned into a juggernaut go-for-the-throat franchise so gruesome you want to turn away, yet so compelling you just can’t. And fittingly enough, the movie soundtracks have always been amicable counterparts assaulting the senses in a fashion that would make Jigsaw proud.
