Vladislav Delay has released a new video for ‘Toive’, taken from the recent Tummaa album. The video is directed by Carolina Melis (who has previously made videos for labelmates Efterklang and Colleen) and Lorenzo Sportiello. The video is a journey into a spectacular miniature landscape, with crystals forming and transforming into new substances.

See the video here:

Vladislav Delay is the long-standing alter-ego of Finnish composer Sasu Ripatti, also known for his work as Luomo and Uusitalo. ‘Toive’ is taken from Delay’s latest full-length, Tummaa, which essentially features a live trio – Ripatti on percussion (a role he reprises from the Moritz von Oswald Trio), Argentine musician Lucio Capece (http://www.luciocapece.blogspot.com) on clarinet and saxophone, and acclaimed Scottish soundtrack composer and arranger Craig Armstrong on piano and Rhodes (http://www.craigarmstrong.com).
