LIGHTS is a synth pop artist from Toronto that Rolling Stone called a “retro new wave…keytar-rocking pixie.” She released her debut full length album The Listening in October which Billboard called “irresistibly catchy” and compared to Little Boots, La Roux, and Saint Etienne. She was the recipient of the 2009 JUNO for New Artist of the Year and has over 21 million plays on MySpace. She’s also an avid comic book fan and starred in her own short-form motion-comic series called Audio Quest: A Captain LIGHTS Adventure which aired on MTV and MTV.com. After a brief headlining US tour last fall she’s headed out on the road for a perfect matchup with Owl City (see full itinerary below).

You can check out her amazing Daytrotter session here: http://www.daytrotter.com/dt/lights-concert/20030998-19.html
