Rhode Island group The Low Anthem has announced the release of a special limited-edition 7-inch of their single “Charlie Darwin” on March 2nd, featuring new and unreleased material. Its A-side includes “Charlie Darwin”, and its B-side includes two staples from the band’s live show, the previously-unreleased “Sally Where’d You Get Your Liquor From” (originally by Rev. Gary Davis) and “Don’t Let Nobody Turn You Around” (originally by Blind Willie McTell), a bonus track previously only available on iTunes. The “Darwin” 7-inch package references the band’s initial hand-painted and silkscreened self-release of Nonesuch debut, Oh My God, Charlie Darwin.

After making their late night TV debut on the Late Show with David Letterman, the band is preparing for their first headlining tour, playing dates across the country with support from Timber Timbre, Lissie, The Wheel, Annie and the Beekeepers, and more along the way. They will also hit this year’s SXSW and Sasquatch Festivals. Before embarking on their headline dates, the band will support The Avett Brothers on 10 mostly sold out shows. They also recently did a fantastic session for La Blogotheque.

Be sure to check them out when they come to a town near you (and see Jeff’s American Mustache Institute-approved “mouth brow” of the year!)
