“Wild & Young,” the swaggering debut single from American Bang’s upcoming self-titled album, has been added to 17 radio stations across the country, such as WBUZ Nashville, WPBZ West Palm Beach and the Cumulus Radio Chain, which includes almost 10 Alternative and Active Rock stations, on its first week of adds. The instantly anthemic song is currently available online via all major digital retailers, as well as the album’s pounding and gritty opener “Whiskey Walk.”

American Bang’s major-label debut, produced by the legendary Bob Rock in Nashville and Hawaii, will be released on Reprise Records later this spring. Containing 11 tracks, it captures the amazing grace and guts of the band’s deep musical roots and Southern accent, proving American Bang shoots straight at the heart of American rock ‘n roll.

“Wild & Young” is also the theme song for WWE NXT on the SyFy channel, as well as in the show’s promos which can be seen on SyFy and during WWE’s programs RAW on USA Network and SmackDown on My Network. American Bang’s song “Move to the Music,” off their 2007 EP of the same name, is being featured in the promos for Nickelodeon’s How To Train Your Dragon.

American Bang – which is Jaren Johnston (singer / guitar), Ben Brown (lead guitar), Kelby Ray (bass), and Neil Mason (drums) – are making several appearances during this year’s SXSW Music Conference in Austin, TX.
