When the South by Southwest (SXSW) Music and Media Conference takes over Austin from March 12-21, the Live Music Capital of the World will be overrun with thousands of bands from all over the world converging on the city’s multitude of music venues to take part in the festivities.

For hometown hero, Bob Schneider, it’ll be business as usual. Schneider will be playing his regular schedule of Austin shows, as well as a special performance at Rachael Ray’s Feedback Party on Saturday, March 20.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of last year’s event, Rachael Ray’s Feedback Party will be moving to a much larger venue – Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater. Rachael Ray’s Feedback Party has become one of the hottest events of SXSW due to Rachael’s tasty menu prepared for the masses and past performances from bands such as The Hold Steady, Airborne Toxic Event and The New York Dolls. This year promises to continue that trend, as confirmed artists – and this year’s menu – will be announced soon.

Austin’s music scene is synonymous with Bob Schneider and in any given week he can be found playing multiple shows in the town’s many clubs. During this SXSW he will be performing two nights with his band at Threadgills (March 18 and 19). He will also be playing solo at the Saxon Pub (March 19), which is the home of his ten-year residency, and what the Austin Chronicle’s Margaret Moser describes as the, “best gig in town.” Arrive early for this one!

Schneider is currently on the road in support of his latest release, Lovely Creatures. The single, “40 Dogs (Like Romeo and Juliet)” has already received more radio airplay than any other song he has released logging over four months in the Top 20 on the Mediabase Triple A Radio chart.

The song is currently being set-up for adds at the Hot AC radio format and has already been embraced at stations across the country. Schneider can be seen performing the track solo on The Rachael Ray Show here: http://embedr.com/playlist/bob-schneider-video-playlists

Schneider will be heading to the UK for his first ever overseas tour in April. All tour dates are below.
