The inimitable Foxy Shazam has, by all accounts, killed it at SXSW. Their raucous performances at SPIN’s annual party and the Crush Mgmt showcase on Friday, March 19th received rave reviews all around:

Foxy previewed songs from their upcoming self-titled release, due out on Sire Records April 13th. Produced by John Feldmann, Foxy Shazam is the Cincinnati, OH band’s major label debut. It is currently available for presale at www.foxyshazam.com.
To support the album, Foxy Shazam is taking their good times mobile with a nationwide headlining tour that runs through April 27th. Stops in New York and Los Angeles will give fans a chance to experience their notoriously rambunctious live show and genre-defying songs, which SPIN (who selected them as one of their 10 to Watch in 2010) said “glitter like diamonds and kick like mules.â€
