Husband and wife singer/songwriters Devon Sproule and Paul Curreri will be featured in a very special interview and performance on National Public Radio’s “Weekend Edition Sunday” this Sunday, April 4th. “Weekend Edition Sunday” airs from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM Eastern Time (consult your local listings for time and station in your market).

A crew from NPR traveled to the couple’s home in Charlottesville, Virginia, recently to tape the show at their house and was treated to Devon and Paul performing songs from her just-released “Don’t Hurry for Heaven” CD, as well as Paul’s new CD, “California,” which releases in the U.S. on April 27.

Writing in No Depression, writer Doug Heselgrave called Devon’s new CD “… a collection of songs from a free soul who obviously loves what she’s doing, and she does it very well. Modest in its reach, joyful in its execution, these are songs that love to be heard as well as sung. Don’t Hurry for Heaven makes me feel good, and fills my soul with hope.”

Paul Curreri’s CD, California, has already been released in the U.K. to rave reviews, including MOJO, which called the album “13 intimate, luminously produced tracks, and his multi-instrumental skills consistently impress. Never less than accomplished, and at their best, give [Dylan, Joe Henry, and Springsteen] a run for their money.”
