The Hangout Beach Music and Arts Festival is going toe-to-toe with the nations’ biggest festivals by offering fans a radically different live music experience. Trade in the mud, and come to the beaches of the Gulf Coast for ocean and sand.

Music’s biggest beach party will take place in the ocean resort community of Gulf Shores, AL. The festival is pleased to announce new lineup additions including Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Papa Mali & Friends, and Honey Island Swamp Band. These three bands join a stellar lineup that already includes the Zac Brown Band, John Legend, Trey Anastasio and TAB, Black Crowes, Flaming Lips, Ben Harper and Relentless7, also Girl Talk, Matisyahu, Rodrigo y Gabriella, Funky Meters, Grace Potter and much more.

Hangout attendees will enjoy three full days of music and beach activities May 14th – 16th. With four stages of music, and two stages directly on the white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, The Hangout promises to be an experience like no other. A number of late night performances will be announced soon.

To kick-off the festivities, Alabama’s Morning Show hosts, Rick and Bubba, will be broadcasting a pre-festival broadcast live from The Hangout on April 30th, 2010.
