After an incredible debut last month, reaching the #1 spot on the iTunes Hip-Hop charts with his 1st Round Records release, Boston’s Boy, Sam Adams continues to show he has an impressive hold on his market and is quickly expanding it. When the video for the first single, “Driving Me Crazy” was leaked onto www.worldstarhiphop.com on Sunday night, it received over 1,060,000 hits in less than 24 hours, propelling his iTunes sales back up the charts to #3 on the Hip-Hop charts and #28 overall. The Trinity College senior is proving that juggling school, being captain of the Trinity soccer team, connecting with fans via social networking and touring college campuses and clubs can really pay off.

With his seemingly out of nowhere independent release, Sam Adams was met with much speculation, but since his remix, “I Hate College” was first posted on YouTube last July, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_4UaPeWCJM) it only took a few months to reach over a million views; building the anticipation for an official release from the Boston native. The rocket release of Boston’s Boy coupled with the incredible numbers on the “Driving Me Crazy” video with corresponding sales, only proves that Sam Adams is just getting started.

The Ethan Lader directed video was shot in Los Angeles last month and features a cameo by Clinton Sparks. The official “Driving Me Crazy” view can now be viewed here: www.youtube.com/1stroundrecords
