Think About Life is a Montreal based band that formed in 2005 as a collaboration between a few friends in an industrial building in a lost corner of Montreal. The band cultivated their sound and show playing parties building a reputation as Canada’s hottest live dance party ticket and now that reputation has begun to spread around the globe.

Their latest album, “Family”, is a step out of the recesses of dark loft spaces and into the light. Every song on this record makes you feel better than the last, which, lets face it, is what the world needs now. The album was released on Alien8 Recordings in Canada in May 2009 and in the United States in October 2009, receiving resounding accolades from the Canadian press, culminating in the band making the Polaris Prize nominee long list and several year‐end “best of” lists. Pitchfork listed the song “Havin’ my Baby” as “Best New Track” in November and the CBC in Canada listed Think About Life as the Canadian band to watch in 2010.

The bands’ four members: unparalleled front man Martin Cesar, melodic wiz Graham Van Pelt, bassist and vocalist Caila Thompson-Hannant and flying drummer Greg Napier, just completed their UK live debut with a series of shows in London this February and are currently on an extensive tour bringing them to all four corners of North America. In May 2010, they’ll be following up overseas with a full european tour including several dates across the UK and appearances at The Great Escape Festival. Stay tuned for Think About Life appearances in summer 2010 at many festivals including Montreal International Jazz Fest, Festival d’Ete de Quebec, Winnipeg Jazz Festival, Bestival and many more.

When not dancing themselves into a sweat on stage with Think About Life, the band also work on other great projects including Miracle Fortress, Shapes & Sizes, Special Noise, amongst others.
