Raleigh, NC six-piece Annuals are preparing for a cross-country co-headlining spring tour with Canadian counterparts The Most Serene Republic. The tour will start in the Midwest on May 5 and stretch to both coasts, with Terpikhore collective and NC friends What Laura Says supporting. The band recently released their Sweet Sister EP, available now on Banter Records, and are preparing to bring their new music out on the road.

Annuals’ 2006 indie debut, Be He Me, became an overnight success in the social media world, introducing the band to a multitude of new challenges and experiences, including touring around the world, and eventually seeing their first major-label release Such Fun, on Canvasback Records in 2008. The band has now made the next major move in the career by taking a step back, returning to a more tight-knit DIY collective for this new EP, with band leader Adam Baker back in the producer role.
