BLACK WATER RISING ANNOUNCE NEW SHOWS INCLUDING FARMINGDALE, NY SHOW WITH DROWNING POOL AND NONPOINT

Hard rockers BLACK WATER RISING are continuing to take the music world by storm. Fresh off a blistering show in Brooklyn, NY with Hellyeah, BWR is psyched to announce that they have several more shows lined up for May in support of their self-titled release which is available now on Giddy Up! Records. Giddy Up! Records is a brand new label with distribution through Sony/RED. The album artwork was designed by “Mister Sam” aka Sam Shearon, the renowned artist from England who hasdone work for Rob Zombie, Godhead and ESP guitars.

Drummer Mike Meselsohn had this to say about the show with Hellyeah in Brooklyn:

“I was honored to share the stage with Vinnie Paul…he is an icon of metal drumming and one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He even knew our song “Brother Go On” from hearing it on the radio and sang it to me. It was a surreal experience and a kick-ass night!”

The guys in BLACK WATER RISING are sure to have more memorable moments like this at their upcoming shows, including May 22nd in Buffalo, NY where they will be sharing the bill with Cycle of Pain. Two days later on May 24th BWR will be performing with Drowning Pool and Nonpoint at The Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale, NY.

BLACK WATER RISING continue to kick ass with their radio campaign and are receiving major airplay from being added to large market stations including WIIL in Chicago, IL and KUPD in Phoenix, AZ. The band has been in the Top 100 on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart with their single “Brother Go On” for the past twelve weeks.
