As one of Alternative Press Magazines “100 Bands You Need To Know”, Deas Vail is making their mark, just off a sold out tour with Copeland the band takes a short break from the road and holds up in a Arkansas loft to begin writing new songs as they look forward to a summer trek with the Vans Warped Tour.

Deas Vail lends their time, help and support to Faceless International (www.facelessinternational.com). Faceless International aims to defend the plight of exploited people worldwide who have gone faceless and unknown for far too long. The purpose behind Faceless is to put a face on the many people in our own country and around the world who have gone faceless, or unknown, for so long. Everyday in our own country, people pass by many who are struggling. Each day around the world, people ignore the plight of millions who have no food, no clean water, no education or even no freedom.

”Our major involvement as a band is educating ourselves so that we can continue to educate others and helping in any practical way we can. During the Copland tour we collected toiletry items for a safe house for women who had be rescued from trafficking in the US. Deas Vail has a passion for seeing an end to modern slavery and trafficking. The items collected for the house are a practical way to help ease the needs that the staff have so that they can focus more on the women there. We will be involved in other projects like these in the future with Faceless” – Deas Vail

Deas Vail is: Wes Blaylock – Vocals, Keys, Laura Blaylock – Keys, Synth, Kelsey Harelson – Drums, Andy Moore – Guitar and Justin Froning – Bass.
