We can almost hear the universal sigh of relief… summer is here. Finally! So time to pack our bags and jet off to Ibiza for the opening season of Warung Brazil on Wednesday 30th June, at Ibiza’s legendary Privilege.

Recognized as the electronic music temple in South Brazil, Warung (meaning ‘home’ in Balinese) sits on the sands of Praia Brava, with gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean. Having long been heralded as one of the top clubs in the world by many of the globes best DJs including, Sven Vath, Luciano, Sasha, Loco Dice, Steve Lawler, John Digweed and Deep Dish, it was only a matter of time before Warung moved to mecca of electronic music, Ibiza.

“The idea behind the move is to connect with clubbers on the island who share the same ethos as Warung in Brazil… everyone leaves Warung with a huge smile on their face, a story to tell and cannot wait to come back. We also want to bring a little bit of Brazil to Ibiza, to share a bit of our culture, our way of life.” Says Ulli Ruger, Warung.

Warung’s long-standing reputation for delivering world class DJs, and emerging talent is perfectly showcased every wednesday over the summer weeks, with the main room hosting DJs such as Karotte, Sharam, Gui Borratto, Popof, Eelke Kleijn, Robert Babicz, X-Press 2, Layo & Bushwacka! Nicole Moundaber, Danny Howells, Shlomi Aber, Dave Spoon and 16B Lolitas with plenty more being firmed up. Dirty Vegas, Kevin Saunderson’s Inner City, Charlie May, Chymera and Life is a Loop all make a visit for special live performances.

Coco Loco adds a different dimension to the main room, with current leading labels Get Physical, 8 Bit, Mobilee, Supernature, Soulfooled, Murmurr, Leftroom, Hope & Audio Therapy and Baracca gracing the decks with DJS such as Heidi, Alex Niggemann, Coyu, Solomun, Gorge, Superlounge, Gavin Herlihy, Sebo-K, Alex Kenji, Simon Baker, Geddes, Uner, Ricky Ryan, Kasper, Robbie Romero and Will Saul alongside .

All artists have been chosen to keep in line with the music policy of Warung – with a mixture of classic and emerging talent, but all who have a rich history in making great productions. Striking up a great balance between House & Techno, Warung have wanted to make the parties exactly that, parties. It’s all about having fun and enjoying the music.
