Rev Theory are currently in Los Angeles’ Henson studios recording the follow up to their 2008 cd, Light It Up with famed veteran rock producer Terry Date (Soundgarden, Pantera, Deftones). Their forthcoming cd, yet to be titled, is scheduled for release in early 2011 on Interscope.

“To be able to sit in the same room and work on your music with a guy that has produced some of your favorite bands is absolutely surreal,” said lead vocalist Rich Luzzi… “We have worked tirelessly to get to this point in our careers, and to get an opportunity to make an album with Terry Date feels right for the band and the music,” added Julien Jorgensen (guitarist).

The title track from the band’s sophomore cd was chosen as the theme to Wrestlemania XXIV. The first single, Hell Yeah” from Light It Up, became a fist-pumping anthem for masses of concertgoers and is currently the theme song for Spike’s hit TV show, “Blue Mountain State.”

Rev Theory, who recently performed at KQRC’s “Rockfest” is set to perform on various upcoming festivals including “Rock on the Range.” The band will begin touring in late 2010 in support of their forthcoming album.
