Robyn and Kelis will kick off a North American co-headlining tour on July 23rd at The Music Box in Los Angeles. The two recently exchanged tweets about the outing, deciding to name it the “All Hearts” tour. Robyn and Kelis have selected UK sensation Dan Black and Far East Movement, Robyn’s Cherrytree Records label mates, to kick off the festivities. Black was named as one of the Top 15 rising music stars on the BBC’s “Sound of 2009” list and heralded in the States for his recent solo debut, UN, and its smash single/video, “Symphonies.” Far East Movement, who were recently handpicked by Lady Gaga as support, will open with their kinetic brand of hiptronica music and preside over the breaks between performers with a live version of their FM Cherrybomb DJ Spin-off, which airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. PDT at www.CherrytreeRadio.com. The tour will conclude at New York City’s Webster Hall on August 5th.

Both Robyn and Kelis have received stellar reviews for their latest offerings. “Genius… she’s still ruling the school,” NME said recently of Robyn’s Body Talk PT 1, her new album, which is scheduled for release on June 15th. Pitchfork.com named it “best new music” earlier this week in an 8.5 out of 10 review. A mix of cool electronica, heartfelt pop and tracks that have all the hallmarks of becoming classic club and radio hits, Body Talk PT 1 is the follow-up toher self-titled 2007 album, which produced the international No. 1 smash single “With Every Heartbeat” and the Top 10 hit “Be Mine.” “Dancing On My Own,” the lead single from Body Talk PT 1,is streaming now at www.robyn.com. While in North America, Robyn will also perform at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, Montreal’s Osheaga Festival and the first-ever Disco Lemonade: Summer Mashup Festival in Toronto.

Kelis’ Flesh Tone, described by The New York Times as “one of her strongest records yet,” came out recently in the U.K., where early reviews have been remarkable, including 5 stars from Glamour, 4.5 stars from NOW Magazine and an 8 out of 10 rating from NME. It appeared on spin.com’s list of “25 Summer Albums That Matter Most” and perezhilton.com also found it one of the summer’s best, noting: “There are soooooo many good songs on Kelis album! Actually, they are ALL good!” Flesh Tone will be released by will.i.am Music Group/Interscope Records in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand on July 6th. It will be available for pre-order on the iTunes Store beginning June 15th. First single “Acapella,” which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Songs Chart and Music Week’s Pop Club Chart in the U.K. earlier this year, will be followed by “4th of July (Fireworks).” Kelis is known for such hits as “Caught Out There,” the Top 5, GRAMMY®-nominated “Milkshake” and “Bossy,” a million-selling ringtone.
