Born in Abilene, Texas, the son of a preacher, Guy grew up singing in church and school. His first performance came at the age of three, and Penrod recalls his mom and dad standing him up on a folding chair for his debut solo, “Fill My Cup Lord.” From there, the powerful voice that would grow through experiences in school plays, and singing with local groups and theater productions, would lead to graduation and a vocal scholarship to Liberty University in Virginia. During the early 90s, Guy was an in-demand session singer in Nashville, who also appeared on TNN’s “Music City Tonight” (as part of the show’s vocal quartet), introducing him to a national audience via the live, 90-minute telecast.

Joining Guy on stage will be some of Nashville’s finest musicians, including: Jason Ahlbrandt, Lead Guitar/Vocals; Jonathan Crone, Acoustic Guitar/Vocals; Andrew Lusk, Keyboards/Vocals; Lucas Skaggs (son of Ricky Skaggs), Bass Guitar and Tucker Wilson (grandson of Buck White of The Whites), Drums.

BREATHE DEEP is available for purchase at retail outlets worldwide, as well as online at all major e-tailers.
