After monumental sets at both this year’s Coachella and Bonnaroo festivals, Melbourne’s finest export, The Temper Trap, will return to the States to play Lollapalooza and Outside Lands festivals along with a run of shows that will take them west. This will be followed shortly after by a headlining tour throughout North America this Fall, including their biggest show to date and Austin City Limits Festival.

Dougy Mandagi’s soaring falsetto and the band’s extremely tight musicianship make their shows a must see. If you haven’t yet caught the band live, Paste put it perfectly after seeing their Bonnaroo performance saying, “There’s been plenty of hullaballoo about their live performance, and I’m finally starting to see why. They play fast, furious, and with enough angular guitar-work to slice through concrete. The Harlem Shakes-esque vocals are just the icing on this very, very catchy cake.” Tickets for fall tour go onsale this weekend. See all tour dates below.

The Temper Trap released their critically acclaimed debut, Conditions, on Glassnote/Columbia late last year. Their song, “Sweet Disposition”, the soaring anthem that is sure to be a constant presence on playlists this summer, recently won the prestigious award for “Song of the Year” at 2010 Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA) Awards. The track has been featured in the hit indie film 500 Days of Summer and has been one of the biggest alternative tracks of the past year. “Sweet Disposition” is currently spun on more than 40 radio stations across the states and latest single Fader is expected to yield similar results
