It’s been a little while since we had the chance to provide coverage for an Old Spice product, but we were lucky enough to get a box of ‘shwag from the company. This box included Proctor & Gamble’s latest two additions to the Old Spice line – the Deo Fresh and Deo Sport Body Washes. There are a number of distinct elements to this line that will ensure that Old Spice picks up a significant portion of the body wash-using public. First off, the bottles are largely clear, allowing potential purchasers to see the vibrant blue (Fresh) and green (Sport) colors of the product itself.

Secondly, after purchasing the product, users will get a fragrance that is mild yet assertive. The fragrance of the Deo Fresh is a little more astringent than the sweeter and more tropical Deo Sport, but both will stick with users for the waking hours of the day. When users can place it onto a pouf or washcloth, the ability of the product to produce significant amounts of foam will ensure that the users are clean through and through.

The price point of this line is normal for the name-brand products, but I did see increased value in the Old Spice Odor Blocker line, owing much to the aforementioned foaming qualities. While there are only two efforts in this line, I feel that the quality of both the Deo Fresh and Deo Sport will ensure that Proctor & Gamble will set their sights on expanding it soon after. If you want to stand out from a crowd with a distinctive but calm amount of freshness, make sure to pick up a bottle of the Old Spice Odor Blocker Body Wash today.
