25 year-old juggler/comedian/daredevil Marcus Monroe’s innovative juggling routines intertwined with his humor has made him a leader in the new generation of variety performers. Broadway’s Lucie Arnaz and David Friedman are producing a weekend of performances with Marcus Monroe November 12 at 8:00pm and 13th at 3:00pm/8:00pm at the 47th Street Theater (304 w. 47th Street) in New York City.

Monroe says, “I think people who come to the show will be amazed at how quickly I can change their perception on juggling.” Monroe adds, “But it’s not just a juggling show, it’s an experience that I believe is much bigger than a juggling show.”

“Marcus Monroe is the most entertaining performer and honest to God TALENT I have seen in decades. I am inviting everyone I care about.” says producer Lucie Arnaz.

Producing the show with Arnaz is close friend and composer, David Friedman. “Who would have thought that the juggler on a Carnival cruise ship would turn out to be a Gen-X Henny Youngman using juggling pins as a violin. This off-the-wall, entertaining, hilarious, brilliantly talented and totally unique guy should be in Las Vegas and on T.V. Come on down and discover a wonderful new entertainer and start your holiday evening off with a laugh and a smile.” Friedman states.

Monroe has entertained across the nation as well as internationally. Credits include: Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Brighton Fringe Festival, CBS’ The Late Show with David Letterman, MTV’s Total Request Live, and ABC Family’s Switched. This past April Marcus performed 150 shows at the Venetian in Macao, China. His YouTube videos have over 100,000s unique views. Monroe has opened for Cake, Hanson, Aimee Mann, The BoDeans, and Talib Kweli. The New York Press has dubbed Marcus “the rock star of jugglers.”
