We are showcasing our new signings by giving away a free sampler with unheard songs from new bands wrstlers and Yourself and the Air, as well as roster favorites Firs, Bluebrain and Death House Chaplain.

Download the entire Lujo Records Sampler for free HERE: http://www.lujorecords.com/2010/

Here’s some 411 on the new bands…

Yourself and the Air
These Chicago boys play self-proclaimed, “natural indie” that gives nodes to Modest Mouse, The Cure and The Pixies. If you’re fan of Pomegranates and Enlou, you’re going to love these guys. Heck, even if you’re not, you’ll love them. Such an exciting future ahead of them.

wrstlrs
Remember My Spacecoaster? No. Okay well, they were Lujo’s first band, featuring John Lamonica and Matt Bergeland and this is their new project! File under “really pretty indie electronica.” For fans of Radiohead and Seldom and good music. Ha!

Hays Holladay
Hays is half of Bluebrain. Need I say more? You’ll hear a lot of Bluebrain in his music, which could never be a bad thing, right?

Mrenc
Mrenc is our very own Eric Collins from The Dark Romantics. It’s the updeat, danceable stuff we’ve come to expect from Collins over the years. If you like The Darkies or any dance rock, you’ll dig.

We really hope you check out the Lujo Records Sampler and look forward to sharing new music from these acts with you soon…
