Little Annie aka Annie Anxiety Bandez, is a smokey contralto, raconteur and restless spirit who has spent the last 30 years creating a body of work that would take much more space than available here to list. Since stepping onto her first stage at the age of 16, her music – and her life – have defied categorization, limitations and/or restrictions. She is a chanteuse and lyricist, a self-taught painter, a multimedia artist, and an ordained interfaith minister. She has recorded with vanguard figures of late twentieth century music – everyone from Adrian Sherwood and the ON-U Sound Stable to Crass to Current 93 to Antony Hegarty to Marc Almond. She is a prolific songwriter who has written for likes of the late Bim Sherman, Paul Oakenfold and most recently Living Color. She is a published author and a stage and screen actress.
