ROCK BAND TADDY PORTER TO HIT THE ROAD WITH ALTER BRIDGE

Stillwater, Oklahoma based rock quartet TADDY PORTER will join Alter Bridge on a forthcoming US winter tour beginning December 20th in Pontiac, MI. Currently on the road in support of Evan’s Blue, Taddy Porter recently wrapped tours behind the legendary guitarist Slash, and platinum rockers Finger Eleven .

“We can’t wait for our jaunt with Alter Bridge,” noted guitarist Joe Selby, “Since we met him on the Slash tour, Myles Kennedy has been a great supporter of ours; we’re stoked to rejoin him this winter.”

In recent months, Taddy Porter’s music has been featured on hit television series including HBO’s “Entourage” and ABC’s “Cougartown.” Moreover, the band’s songs “In The Morning” and “Railroad Queen” appeared in the film “Legendary” starring WWE superstar John Cena. The band recently performed on WGN America’s Midday Show, seen in over 200 markets across the country and in over 70 million households.

Taddy Porter’s second single, “Big Enough”, has steadily been climbing up the charts since it impacted radio in late September. Finding early champions in stations such as WRIF in Detroit, KMOD in Tulsa and Sirius Octane, “Big Enough” has cracked the top 40 active rock chart, with important adds being culled with each passing week. A new video for “Big Enough” is imminent.

Taddy Porter was formed in October 2007 in Stillwater, OK, coming together to create timeless, undeniable rock songs that where seeded, take root almost immediately. Taddy Porter’s contemporary yet warm and bluesy rock sound is akin to The Black Keys, The White Stripes, Kings of Leon and The Black Crowes, but they shine from the pack during their electric live performances. The quartet features Andy Brewer (lead vocals / guitar), Joe Selby (lead guitar / backing vocals), Doug Jones (drums) and Kevin Jones (bass).
