Amos Lee will be a featured performer on CMT ARTISTS OF THE YEAR, a 90-minute special hosted by Kevin Costner that honors this year’s top country artists. Premiering Friday, December 3 at 8:00pm ET/PT on CMT and CMT.com, the special will celebrate Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Zac Brown Band by bringing them together with their peers, for a glamorous evening of star-studded performances from the country world and beyond. Lee will be performing with the Zac Brown Band on a rendition of “Colder Weather,” a new song from their #1 sophomore album ‘You Get What You Give.’

Lee has also announced his first-ever headlining concert at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium on April 8. A limited number of pre-sale tickets will be available to fans starting today by clicking here. General ticket on-sales begin on Friday, December 3. More upcoming tour dates will be announced shortly.

On January 25, Amos Lee will release Mission Bell, his fourth album for EMI’s Blue Note Records, and his richest and most fully formed album to date. Mission Bell, which was produced by Joey Burns of the acclaimed band Calexico, displays both range and cohesion, an array of emotions unified by Lee’s eclectic taste and distinctive vocals. With a remarkable set of guests—including Lucinda Williams, Willie Nelson, Sam Beam (Iron & Wine), Priscilla Ahn, Pieta Brown, and James Gadson—and the musical backing of Calexico, the album marks the arrival of Amos Lee as a mature artist who continues to explore his musical and thematic interests.

Mission Bell’s lead single “Windows Are Rolled Down” was released digitally on November 23, and is already climbing the radio charts, debuting at #25 at AAA after just 2 weeks with over 50 stations adding the song. Lee’s WXPN “Free At Noon” performance at World Café in Philadelphia on December 3 will be webcast live by NPR Music. WFUV has also announced Lee to headline their 6th Annual Holiday Cheer show on December 6 at the New York Society for Ethical Culture.
