In addition to stops in New York, Seattle and Los Angeles, the band will return to visit their new coterie of fans in Detroit, Kansas City, Denver, Boise and Salt Lake City. The Parlotones will also make a highly anticipated appearance at SXSW in support of their new album, Stardust Galaxies, out now on Sovereign Entertainment.

>From their origins in Johannesburg, South Africa, the rock 4-piece have achieved multi-platinum-selling status in their home country, selling more records than Coldplay, The Killers and Oasis combined. They return to North America after an overwhelmingly successful fall 2010 tour with Blue October. They plan to conquer these shores with their darkly romantic lyrics, atmospheric pop structure and ambitious live shows which have been earning a rave response from fans and critics alike.

A sold-out 300-date world tour over the last 18 months has brought The Parlotones to the attention of fans in 10 different countries, where they packed 1000+ capacity venues by word of mouth alone. Highlights include an incredible sold out show at UK’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire in November 2010 and sales of 150-200 albums per night on the recent U.S. tour supporting Blue October.

Plans are underway for a 3-D international live concert broadcast from Johannesburg in July 2011. More details coming soon.
