American metal horde ABIGAIL WILLIAMS have been confirmed as support, alongside Melechesh, Hate and Lecherous Nocturne, for Rotting Christ’s massive thirty-date North American tour beginning this March. Though it is the first major tour for the band thus far into 2011, the band will confirm more tour actions in the coming weeks. Interviews with ABIGAIL WILLIAMS are available at all shows, or in advance of the tour upon request.

The members of ABIGAIL WILLIAMS will also host a live podcast tonight on TheGauntlet.com’s infamous The Dungeon show from 6pm – 9pm PST. Tune in for brutal metal, raw humor, special guests and all sorts of chaos.

ABIGAIL WILLIAMS’ latest album In The Absence Of Light was released in September via Candlelight Records. Recorded at Conquistador Studios in Cleveland and mixed by Peter Tagtgren (Dimmu Borgir, Immortal, Celtic Frost) at Black Lounge Studios in Sweden, the album presents founder/vocalist/guitarist Sorceron with new guitarist Ian Jekelis and drummer Ken Bedene. The album’s eight songs, written exclusively by Sorceron, contain far more urgency then the band’s previous material, cutting down on snyth and keyboards without depleting their crushing atmospheric capabilities, while adding a more brutal, sinister edge to their attack.
