This March, North America will get a rare chance to see one of the best live shows going. Coming off their acclaimed 2010 release Church With No Magic and tour of the US, PVT (formerly Pivot), known for their visceral live shows, seething masses of post-punk guitars, brutal drums and bass-heavy electronics – couldn’t get enough, and are coming back. They will support one of BBC’s ‘Sounds of 2011’, the LA psych-rockers Warpaint. The 20+ date tour will see them hit major cities all over the US and Canada, including San Francisco, NYC, Chicago, Nashville, Toronto and Montreal just to name a few (full schedule listed below). As Stereogum puts it, PVT’s live set consists of “taut, restrained dance and sample-heavy emotional epics that [do] spellbinding things.”

To coincide with the tour, the band is giving away the album title track, Church With No Magic, remixed by The Midnight Juggernauts. PVT is Richard Pike (vocals, bass, guitars, synths), Laurence Pike (drums, electronics) and Dave Miller (synths, electronics, percussion).
