STRAIGHT LINE STITCH have been added to the robust lineup that is the 2011 ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL featuring MEGADETH, DISTURBED and GODSMACK. The band will be appearing on the “Extreme Stage” on all dates along with SUICIDE SILENCE & ALL SHALL PERISH. “Getting added to Mayhem is definitely a highlight of our careers thus far. There are so many amazing bands we thought we’d never get the opportunity to play with & now we get to. It’s gonna be a surreal summer for sure.” says front woman Alexis Brown. Dates can be seen below.

STRAIGHT LINE STITCH has completed work on their new studio album, “The Fight Of Our Lives” due for release on March 22, 2011 via eOne Music. The new album is set to include eleven new songs and will be the follow-up to their album, “When Skies Wash Ashore” released in 2008.

The band has uploaded the first video of a series of behind the scenes studio footage as well, watch it here: [http://bit.ly/hlKJIg ]

Brown couldn’t be happier with the way the album turned out. She offers, “The only thing that comes to mind when I think of our new record is excitement! As a band, we’ve have grown leaps and bounds in comparison to our last release.” “Conversion” is a first glimpse of the band’s new music is available now for streaming here, [http://bit.ly/hBIVb0].
