Los Angeles indie singer-songwriter Cary Brothers will support New Zealand artist Brooke Fraser on her entire upcoming U.S. tour scheduled to begin in late April. He will also make an appearance at SXSW next week. Brothers is currently touring in support of his second full-length album, Under Control.

Under Control premiered at #1 on the iTunes Singer-Songwriter Chart and includes songs recently featured on Grey’s Anatomy, One Tree Hill, Smallville, 90210, and Cougar Town. Brothers just released the powerful new single “Break Off The Bough,” an uplifting pop anthem of hope perfectly suited for these troubled times.

A native of Nashville, TN, Brothers first gained national attention for his song “Blue Eyes” on the Grammy-winning “Garden State” Soundtrack. With over 65 songs featured in TV shows and films like the recent hit movie “Easy A,” he is one of the most-licensed artists in music today. In addition, Brothers has appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “The Late Late Show.” He is the co-creator of The Hotel Cafe Tour and has toured worldwide with artists such as Imogen Heap, Sara Bareilles, and The Fray. In the electronic dance music world, Brothers has found success collaborating with DJ phenomenon Tiesto on a club remix of his song “Ride” as well as original material for Tiesto’s latest collection “Kaleidoscope.”

“Cary Brothers is required listening for a developing generation of fans of smart, heartfelt, original music” – Boston Globe
